Dr. Bita Amanda Farhoumand
Dr. Bita Amanda Farhoumand is a Board Certified Periodontist, Implantologist, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. A graduate of the University of Virginia in 2006, with distinction, she went on to receive her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from UCLA. She also attended New York University where she received her Certificate in Periodontics in 2013. Dr. Bita is currently an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the Northeastern Society of Periodontists, and the Virginia Society of Periodontists.
In Boston, MA, Dr. Bita was a presenter at the Jay Siebert Tri-school Symposium. In 2013 and 2014 she appeared on CNN, FOX News, Bravo, and MSNBC as a guest expert on Top Doctors Medical Interviews.
She received the "Best of Vienna Award" for Periodontics & Implant dentistry in 2012, the Patient’s Choice Award in 2015, and the Top Doctor Award for Periodontics & Implant Dentistry in 2016 and 2017. Dr. Bita also served as an expert-witness for a dental malpractice case in 2017.
